The Allen-Bradley 1747-L532 is an SLC 5/03 central processor unit with 12K user memory and 16K program memory. The processor is capable of supporting 4096 inputs and 4096 outputs. About 1747-L532
The SLC 500 series 1747-L532 module is manufactured by Allen-Bradley as an SLC 5/03 controller module. It is an industrial processor module. The 1747-L532 processor and controller module can be used a full duplex setup where it is directly connected to a computer with a cable or where it is connected to a computer through 1 or more modems and multiple cables. The full duplex setup is also known as a point to point setup. This processor and controller can communicate with other devices through the DH485 and RS-232 ports and it supports half duplex setups as well as full duplex ones.
The Allen-Bradley SLC 500 1747-L532 processor and controller module has battery backup for its RAM and it is compatible with the Allen-Bradley 1747-M13 backup memory device. Its user memory capacity is 16,000 words and its RAM capacity is 16 KB.
