Other Available Revisions for the 1746-RT27 1746-RT27//A
The 1746-RT27 is a Removable Terminal Block in the SLC 500 series. It has 8 terminals and four I/O points, which make it possible to initiate communication with more than one machine unit. This module makes it possible to interchange I/O modules without rewiring.
The 1746-RT27 has gold plated contacts; gold, which has a very high conductivity, reduces the resistance of the terminals. Gold also reacts less compared to other metals which increases the lifespan of the terminals. The 1746-RT27 can comfortably accommodate connections which are bound to trigger a rise in excessive temperatures. It consumes a backplane current of 215 mA at 5 Volts and has an update time of 2 milliseconds. Weighing 1.1 kilograms makes it easier to mount on the chassis and to move around, and it operates optimally at 0 to 60 degrees Celsius, measuring 5.5 x 3.6 x 5.7 inches. The small size of the 1746-RT27 makes it occupy a smaller space in the chassis, leaving room for other modules and increasing the ventilation.
The 1746-RT27 is used with both the 1746-NO4V and the 1746-NO4I analog output module and has eight terminals. It is meant to be used inside a 1746 chassis, conforming to 1492-AIFMQS I/O connection standards.
With has a storage temperature rating of between -40 degrees Celsius and 85 degrees Celsius, it can withstand a humidity of between 5 and 95% in a non-condensing environment. As part of the SLC 500 series, the 1746-RT27 exhibits the characteristics of this series. E.g. Certifications.
