Other Available Revisions for the 1746-P6 1746-P6//A
The 1746-P6 is a power supply module from Allen-Bradley and it forms part of the SLC 500 series. It has a line voltage rating of 30-60V DC, and it has a 5A and a 0.96A current capacity at 5V DC and 24V DC, respectively, a 0.2A current capacity (user) at 24V DC, and a maximum inrush current of 20A. The 1746-P6 module does not have jumpers. The user output voltage ranges from 18-30V DC. The 1746-P6 uses a maximum of 2 #14 AWG wires per terminal. The terminal screws on the module should not exceed 1Nm torque when tightening. To supply power to the 24V DC sensors and loads, use the PWR OUT +24V DC plus the PWR OUT COM terminals. The module provides 200mA non fused isolation at 24V DC.
The 1746-P6 requires a line power of 100VA, and a terminal and backplane isolation of 1800V AC RMS for 1 sec. At full load, the 1746-P6 has a CPU hold-up of 5ms and 1500ms at no load. The 24V DC user power can power the AIC+. When using the 1746-P6, a hard-wired connection is required to supply power to the link coupler.
The 1746-P6 has an operating temperature rating of 0-60 degrees Celsius, and a storage temperature of -40-85 degrees Celsius. The 1746-P6 has certifications for Class 1, Division 2 hazardous locations, and UL, CE, and c-UL approval. The module is supposed to be used in environments that have a relative humidity of 5-95% without condensation. The module is 5.5” by 3.6” by 5.7” in dimensions and should be mounted on the 1746 chassis.
