Eaton Cutler-Hammer's S811V10N3S soft starter is an open non-combination soft starter; it is a scalable 3-phase motor acceleration solution with enhanced diagnostics, maximum motor uptime, and consistent performance. It includes a digital interface module that allows users to change control parameters, activate or deactivate protections, set communication variables, monitor system parameters, and access the fault queue. It comes with power ratings of 315 kilowatts at 230 volts AC (50 hertz) and 400 horsepower at 230 volts (60 hertz) and runs at 200 to 600 volts AC power. This is the most powerful solid-state soft starter with smart technology in the Eaton S811+ series. It is capable of delivering 1000 amps to the motor linked to its output. It is highly suggested any qualified experts should install and service this equipment. The S811V10N3S soft starter's quick-connect connectors enable integration into industrial automation networks. It is compatible with the Ethernet and DeviceNet protocols. The normal soft-start modes on this motor starter are the voltage ramp, current limit, and selectable kick-start. The LCD on the S811V10N3S soft starter displays status information as well as control parameters to users. Users can configure all of the system's protection mechanisms using the programming buttons. The users can change the current trip value or the high voltage detection limit. The device is an AC-rated motor speed controller that is certified by UL, CSA, CE, and IEC. The shock resistance of the S811V10N3S soft starter is 15 G. It measures 281 millimeters by 421 millimeters by 187 millimeters and weighs 91 kilograms without the lugs (the lugs weigh about 12 kilos).
