PowerFlex 527
From the manufacturer Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation, the PowerFlex 527 product series consists of a large quantity of adjustable frequency AC drives. These drives are compatible with Allen Bradley Programmable Automation Controllers. PowerFlex 527 AC drives feature dual Ethernet/IP ports that support a wide variety of different topologies. These drives can transfer data, such as configuration files, to new machines. The adjustable frequency AC drives are designed to help reduce downtime, as well as configuration time. The Safe Torque-off functionality comes standard in PowerFlex 527 AC drives. PowerFlex 527 adjustable frequency AC drives operate via voltages ranging from 100 volts AC to 600 volts AC. In addition, these drives can operate in both single-phase and three-phase operations. The power rating of these products is between 0.4 kilowatts and 22 kilowatts, or the equivalent of 0.5 horsepower and 30 horsepower. For protection against various environmental hazards, such as water, heat, and so on, PowerFlex 527 adjustable frequency AC drives are equipped with an open-type NEMA enclosure. This enclosure has an Ingress Protection rating of IP20. These drives are available with or without an EMC filter. Additionally, PowerFlex 527 AC drives feature a standardized brake. These drives should only be used if the surrounding temperature ranges from -20 degrees Celsius to +50 degrees Celsius. In addition, when storing these devices, the surrounding temperature should range from -40 degrees Celsius to +85 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, the relative humidity levels suitable for PowerFlex 527 AC drives should be non-condensing and range from 0% to 95%.
