The 25B-D010N104 drive is an Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation PowerFlex 525 series 3-phase AC drive. Its output power rating is 5 HP, and its output current rating is 10.5 Amps. It supports 5 HP of output power in both normal-duty and heavy-duty operations. This drive includes a safety feature called the Safe-Torque-Off feature, which protects the drive’s internal components and the drive users in situations where a safety-related machine-stopping option is required. However, it should be noted that the Safe-Torque-Off feature was designed for use as a mechanical safety device and not an electrical safety device. The 25B-D010N104 drive has a standard braking option and a standard interface option. It does not include a filter. The 25B-D010N104 drive can operate at 380 to 480 Volts AC (-15%, +10%) or 323 to 528 Volts AC of 3-phase input voltage and at 0 to 480 Volts AC of 3-phase output voltage. Its Bus overvoltage trip rating is 810 Volts DC Bus, and its Bus undervoltage trip rating is 390 Volts DC Bus. The 25B-D010N104 drive can support 100 ms of power ride-thru. This drive uses isolated gate bipolar transistors or IGBTs as its transistors. The 25B-D010N104 drive supports several control methods, including the closed loop velocity vector control method, the sinusoidal PWM method, the Volts/Hertz method, and the sensorless vector method. Its typical efficiency rating is 97.5%. The 25B-D010N104 drive can operate without derating at a surrounding air temperature rating of 50 degrees Celsius or 122 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, this drive can operate with derating at a surrounding air temperature rating of 60 degrees Celsius or 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
