The Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 4M series 22F-A4P2N113 drive is an adjustable frequency AC drive designed for high-performance motor speed control. It has a compact design to save installation space. The integrated interface module with a keypad on the 22F-A4P2N113 drive enables easy configuration and startup. Common configuration settings are easily accessible through the keypad and support fast programming. A 4-digit display on the interface module provides easy access to status updates and other relevant application information. A PC can also be used to program the 22F-A4P2N113 drive through the integrated RS-485 interface. Operators can also use a serial converter to connect the 22F-A4P2N113 drive to a controller that has a DF1 port. Optional communication cards such as Ethernet, BACnet, DeviceNet, and ControlNet cards, enable the drive to be connected to additional communication networks. The 22F-A4P2N113 drive can be DIN rail mounted. This drive also supports a “zero stacking” type of mounting option if the ambient temperature is kept below 40 degrees Celsius. The 22F-A4P2N113 drive can operate at ambient temperatures of up to 50 degrees Celsius if it is not installed in a “zero stacking” setup. This drive has integrated EMC filtering. External filters are also available but must be ordered separately. A removable MOV allows the 22F-A4P2N113 drive to be used with ungrounded systems. A relay is also used to limit the inrush current for the 22F-A4P2N113 drive. Overload protection is also supported, and the drive can handle a 150% overload for 1 minute and a 200% overload for 3 seconds. Quiet operation is enabled by adjustable PWM frequency which can be set to values of up to 10 kilohertz. The AC drive supports slip compensation and IR compensation.
