The Allen-Bradley 22D-D2P3N104 is an AC drive with a variable frequency developed for use in industrial settings, particularly for fine-tuning AC motors. This drive gives users access to standard motor controls like start/stop/jog/forward/reverse and permits smooth frequency adjustments to control motor speed. The ability to schedule the motor's start and stop times improves safety and productivity during operation. The system's versatile control methods are particularly useful for its availability of flexible motor control strategies, such as V/Hz Motor Control and Sensorless Vector Control (SVC). Thanks to its integrated Human Interface Module (HIM), this drive allows for local operation and configuration. In addition, up to 31 drives can be connected in a multi-drop network, and remote design is possible via embedded RS485 communication. This data link makes sharing drive settings and parameters easy during installation and servicing. The 22D-D2P3N104 features numerous input/output (I/O) terminals for connecting to various devices, such as seven discrete inputs (two of which are reserved for start/stop), an analog input for speed reference, an external potentiometer terminal, a Form C output that can be programmed, two optocoupler outputs, and an analog output. This drive accepts a 380-480VAC, 3-phase input, producing 0.75 kW (1.0 HP) under normal conditions and a robust 11.0 kW (15.0 HP) under heavy loads. It has an active output current of 2.3 A. The drive supports DIN rail mounting and an IP30 enclosure for increased adaptability, and it can be installed in an IP20 open enclosure for dust protection. It's simple to monitor and reset faults thanks to its four-digit LED display, ten indicators, and reset button. It can be programmed and integrated into multi-drop networks; the DF1 port connects controllers. Its zero-stacking design reduces the room needed between drives, even in hot environments (up to 50 degrees Celsius).
