The 22C-D017N103 from Allen-Bradley is a PowerFlex 400 range adjustable frequency AC drive appropriate for fan and pump systems. The 22C-D017N103 enables a variety of starting and stopping modes, including flying start, ramp-up and ramp-down, controlled acceleration and deceleration, and idle responses like sleep and wake. These are some of the features that enable the 22C-D017N103 to work efficiently and consume less power. The 22C-D017N103 drive has three (3) semi-programmable and four (4) completely programmable digital inputs, two analog I/O, two programmable relays, and one opto output. It has an IP30 protected, or NEMA/UL type open enclosure that protects it from solid objects up to 12 millimeters in size and comes with a panel mounting for easy installation. It has an integrated RS-485 communication connector that can work over extended distances in a noisy environment. The 22C-D017N103 drive can be linked to a fire alarm by a purge or function loss input. It has a pressure-maintenance proportional, integral, and differential (PID) control loop, a built-in damper, and an auxiliary motor control. It also has a ground fault, motor overload, and transient protection built in. The Logix control platform is used by the 22C-D017N103, which simplifies parameter and tag programming and hence decreases development time. The 22C-D017N103 has an input voltage supply range of 3-phase 342 to 528 volts AC and an input current of 18.4 amperes with a frequency range of 48-63 hertz. It offers a continuous voltage and current output of 0 to 460 volts AC and 17 amps, with a frequency range of 0 to 400 hertz.
