The 22-HIM-C2S is a human interface module (HIM) for the PowerFlex 520 series of variable frequency AC drives. This HIM is an accessory module that is typically attached to the front panel or entrance of the enclosure. It is utilized predominantly for local configuration, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the host drive. This module is capable of performing standard and additional procedures, such as the CopyCat feature, and can be installed and affixed to a variety of drives. This CopyCat enables the 22-HIM-C2S to store the extant parameters of an operating drive in the HIM's local memory. In contrast, the same function enables the transfer of stored data to the drive for parameter restoration, which can substantially reduce the troubleshooting time. This module also permits the renaming or deletion of extant CopyCat files. The 22-HIM-C2S includes a variety of control options, including escape, select, back, up, down, ALT, Jog, ON/OFF, and many others. It comes with a 2-meter communication cable that facilitates remote communication between the 22-HIM-C2S and the host drive. Allen-Bradley's 22-HIM-C2S is equipped with a remote-mounted LCD display, digital speed control, and imitation functionality. This interface module has an ingress protection rating of IP66 and is housed in a NEMA Type 4X/12 enclosure rated for internal use only. This interface module is intended to provide the operators with a compact and space-efficient motor control device. There are many commercial applications for the 22-HIM-C2S interface module, and it is very flexible and simple to use. It is often used to handle and keep an eye on AC drives in the mining, manufacturing, and food and beverage industries.
