The PLC-5-40 is a Standard Type of PLC-5 Programmable Logic Controller manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Users can find it under the number 1785-L40B in the catalog. This kind of PLC will be installed in a PLC-5/1771 control system, which must include a 1771 chassis, power supply module, programmable controller, and I/O modules. The module is packed in an IP00-rated housing. For communication purposes, this module is equipped with four DH+ or Remote I/O ports and it also has one RS-232 or RS-422A configurable port.
