Other Available Revisions for the 1771-WHFB 1771-WHFB//A
The Allen-Bradley 1771-WHFB is part of the family of Allen-Bradley PLC-5 wiring arms. This device features 21 tin contact-plated terminals with 16 I/O points. It also features 7 to 9 pounds on an inch in screw torque and it comes with a fuse size not exceeding 1.5 Amps. This device is used for the typical applications that require a fused wiring arm, individual circuit protection, and general-purpose applications. The 1771-WHFB comes with a conformal coating, which eliminates the need for an external power source. The device has dimensions of 4.5 x 12.4 x 6.3 inches and weighs 0.3 pounds. The biggest advantage about the 1771-WHFB is that it offers users with the capability of flexible interconnection between the plant wiring and the Allen-Bradley 1771 I/O modules.
However, the communication between the analog module and the processor is bidirectional. This translates the processor block transferring input data and output data through the output image table to the module. Similarly, it helps to block-transfer data originating from the module through the input image table. The module also requires an area within the data table that helps to store the read block-transfer data. The analog I/O therefore serves as a smart block transfer module that has the capacity to interface the analog signals to any processor with the block transfer capability enabled. The analog input module has the capability to sense up to 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog inputs and has the capability to change them into four proportional BCG-digits. During installation, it is important to disconnect power from the 1771 I/O chassis and the 1771-WHFB wiring arm before connecting the 1/0 module. If the power is not disconnected, it can lead to damages to the module and lower its performance.
