Other Available Revisions for the 1771-TCMR 1771-TCMR//A
The Allen-Bradley 1771-TCMR is the resistive-sensor based temperature control module for PLC-5 programmable controllers. The 1771-TCMR supports 8 PID loops. Any slot within the 1771 I/O chassis can be used for module installation. It is compatible with the following resistance-type sensors: a 100-ohm platinum (USA) sensor which can be used for a -200 to 630 degrees Celsius temperature range, 100-Ohm platinum (Europe) which can be used for a -200 to 870 degrees Celsius temperature range, the 120-Ohm nickel which can be used for a -80 to 320 degrees Celsius temperature range, and a 10-Ohm copper sensor which can be used for a -200 to 260 degrees Celsius temperature range. The offset and gain drift values are ±25 milliohm/degree Celsius and ±50 ppm/degree Celsius, respectively.
The inputs to the 1771-TCMR are made via the 1771-RTP4 termination panel. The 6-feet-long 1771-NC6 and the 15-feet-long 1771-NC15 cables are used for this purpose. The input impedance is greater than 10 mega ohms. The time taken to detect an open input by the module is maximum 5 seconds. The module can sustain a continuous 140 Volts AC RMS. The normal mode rejection is 50 dB at 40 Hertz and 60 dB at 60 Hertz. The common mode rejection is typically 150 dB. The time taken by the module to update the 8 PID loops is 1 second. The steady-state current drawn by the series A 1771-TCMR module is 1.3 Amps whereas the series B 1771-TCMR draws 1.5 Amps on system startup. The weight of the module is 1.8 pounds. The operating and storage temperature ranges are 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and -40 to 85 degrees Celsius respectively. The optimal relative humidity range is 5 to 95%.
