The Allen Bradley 1771-QH is a Force Control Module. The 1771-QH acts as a single-axis hydraulic controller for high-speed transparent transitions between speed control and pressure control. By configuring the motion control profile, the 1771-QH changes the speed of the optimizing style control for faster and smoother operation. It can also configure the profile to control an additional output to the hydraulic pump controller and proportional valve amplifier. For easy access, all module parameters are stored in a PLC processor data table. This greatly reduces setup time and helps eliminate the need for recalibration; the user can make necessary mechanical adjustments during operation without shutdown, and without reprogramming the module. The 1771-QH has a 12-bit binary I/O resolution, and comes with 4 analog inputs and 4 analog outputs and an update time of 2 milliseconds for servo loop and position or pressure measurement. The thermal dissipation of this module is 21 BTU/hour (outputs full ON), and its wiring arm corresponds to the number 1771-WF. This unit has an operating frequency of 47 to 63 Hertz; its fuse is 3 A, 250 Volt, and Normal-Blow, and it measures 4.5 x 12.4 x 6.3 inches (115 x 317 x 160 millimeters). To avoid personal injury, ensure that all machine guards and shields are in place before proceeding.
