Although it can withstand variations in temperature, it is recommended to use the module within the specified temperature limits mentioned by the manufacturer. The recommended operating ambient temperature for the module is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and the storage temperature is -45 to 85 degrees Celsius. It is also recommended to have the humidity of the environment between 5 and 95% and the humidity should be non-condensing.
The module is suited for industrial use and can be installed in the I/O chassis slot of the 1771 series of PLC-5 system. It has a 15-Amps branch circuit protection and the modules maximum power loss delay time is 13.6 milliseconds. The module operates on an input voltage range of 97 to 132 Volts AC and the recommended input voltage is 120 Volts AC. The maximum power output of the device is 59 Watts and the apparent input power is 89 Watts. The power supply module should be replaced by people familiar with the system. The main power supply should be turned off before replacing the module to prevent damage to the equipment and prevent injury from shock. ESD protection guidelines must be followed and necessary safety precautions should be taken to prevent damage to the equipment.
