The 1771-OQ16 module is an isolated output module that has been designed to operate with DC relays and other DC output devices. This PLC 5 module has been designed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation and it can be installed in all the 1771 I/O chassis except the A1, A2, and A4 chassis. It is compatible with the 1771-AM1 and -AM2 chassis. This module is not compatible with local I/O adapters such as the 1771-AL adapter. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1771-OQ16 isolated output module is powered by the power supply that is connected to the I/O chassis backplane.
