The 1771-OND is a digital output module that belongs to the Allen Bradley 1771 Digital AC I/O module series of PLC-5 system. This is a conformally-coated module that has 16 fused outputs. It functions at an output voltage rating between 10 to 60 Volts AC at 47 to 63 Hertz. For each output, the maximum current rating is 2 amperes while for each module, the maximum current rating is 8 Amperes. This module falls under 24/48 Volts AC voltage category and also ships with a 1771-WH wiring arm. The operational power dissipation for the 1771-OND module is 16.5 Watts. You need to observe proper placing of keying bands for this module. Place them on the backplane connectors between pins 20 and 22, and pins 32 and 34. Whether you need to install or remove the 1771-OND module or wiring arm, make sure to remove the power first. This is to avoid module or wiring arm damage as well as performance degradation or injury. The front panel for this module has 1 green, module active indicator and up to 17 red status indicators.
