The 1771-OGD is a TTL output module manufactured by Allen Bradley. It has 16 TTL outputs which output between high and low logic levels. The high logic level has a voltage range of 2 to 5.25 Volts DC, and a low logic level has a voltage range of -0.2 to -0.8 Volts DC. The ON and OFF state at the outputs of the module can source a current of 1 milli-Amps and sink a current of 20 mA. The 1771-OGD can be powered by an external power supply of 5 Volts DC and 310 mA having a maximum ripple voltage of 50 mV. It can also be powered by the internal I/O chassis backplane. The 1771-OGD has a operating ambient temperature tolerance of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and a storage temperature tolerance of -45 to 85 degrees Celsius, the humidity of the environment should be between 5 to 95% on condensing. The 1771-OGD is sensitive to electrostatic discharge and ESD guidelines must be followed when installing the module. Appropriate wrist straps must be used to prevent damage to the equipment and care should be taken to not touch the connectors or component terminals with bare hands. The module should be installed by a person familiar with the system and power to the 1771 chassis should be turned OFF when replacing or installing the module. Do not replace the module when the power is turned ON as it may damage the equipment and the module. The 1771-OGD is UL listed, CSA certified and CE certified for applicable directives.
