The 1771-OFE2 is manufactured by Allen Bradley which is an analog output module. The output of the module is in current form. The output current range for the module is 4 to 20 milliAmps. The 1771-OFE2 has four differential isolated outputs and the module has a self check on startup to find faults and display them by turning ON a fault indicator LED to indicate the status of the module. The module has a power requirement of 5 Volts DC at 1.5 Amperes and the power is received from the chassis backplane or an external power supply. Care must be taken that the module must not be inserted or removed from the I/O modules when the power of the system is turned ON. If these instructions are not followed it can damage the equipments and the modules. The configuration jumpers on the module are installed in the factory and they do not require any additional configuration. The recommended operating temperature for the module is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and the module storage temperature should be -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The humidity should be non condensing from 5 to 95%. This module has a CSA certification and it is UL listed and CE marked for all applicable derivatives. The power dissipation of the module is 7.9 Watts. The module should be installed and replaced by persons trained and are familiar with the system to prevent any damage to the equipment. The 1771-OFE2 is EMC certified and can be used in pollution degree 2 industrial environments.
