The 1771-ODZ is a digital AC output module from Rockwell automation/ Allen Bradley. The module has 8 outputs which are isolated and grouped into 4 groups of 2. From the backplane, the 1771-ODZ module draws a current of 350 milliamperes. The maximum continuous current is 2 amperes per output which should not exceed 6 amperes per module.  The 1771-ODZ module operates at a voltage range of 92 to 138 Volts alternating current at a frequency range of between 47 and 63 Hertz. The signal delay for the off-on operation is 1 milliseconds while the on-off delay is 8.3 milliseconds at 60 Hertz frequency.

At 2 amperes, the 1771-ODZ module has a maximum voltage drop (on-state) of 1.6 Volts and at 138 Volts AC, the module has 2 milliamperes off-state leakage current. The 1771-ODZ digital AC output module dissipates a minimum and maximum power of 1.8W and 11.4W respectively. Additionally, the module has a thermal dissipation rating of between 6.14 and 38.9 BTU per hour. The 1771-ODZ module meets the UL 508 and the CSA standard C22.2 #142 standards which define the isolation voltage requirements. The module has a common surge current for both per output and per module that does not exceed 20 amperes repeatable each 5s for 100 milliseconds. The 1771-ODZ module detects a minimum load current of 15 milliamperes on each output channel. When keying the module to the backplane, use pins 4 to 6 and 34 to 36. The 1771-WD wiring arm is used to initiate connections to the 1771-ODZ module. The 5A, 250 Volt 3AG normal blow fuse is recommended to be used with the 1771-ODZ module.
