The 1771-NC6 connection cable is a high-resolution analog PLC connection cable manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This 1771-NC6 analog PLC cable is used for connecting Remote Terminal Panels (or RTPs) to Allen-Bradley 1771-N Series high-resolution isolated analog I/O modules that are also manufactured by Allen-Bradley. While in use, these Allen-Bradley 1771-N series modules work with Allen-Bradley PLC-3, PLC-5, and PLC-5/250 programmable controllers when they are connected and that are also compatible with the 1771-NC6 PLC connection cables. Hence, these Allen-Bradley 1771-NC6 high-resolution PLC analog connection cables are designed for use with the Allen-Bradley RTPs and with the Allen-Bradley 1771-N series analog I/O modules.
The Allen-Bradley 1771-NC6 high-resolution PLC analog connection cables are I/O wiring terminators on the RTP field and they are prefabricated for their specified operations. Measuring about 6 feet or 1.8 meters in length and weighing 0.3 kilograms, these 1771-NC6 PLC cables create mechanical systems that are bigger and more efficient than other systems while in use. On both ends of the 1771-NC6 PLC cables, the cables are connected with 25-pin connectors that allow for both 4-channel and 8-channel 1771-N module configurations to use these cables. The relevant RTPs that go with the 8-channel 1771-N I/O module include the Allen-Bradley 1771-RTP1, the 1771-RTP2, and the 1771-RTP4 modules. Two Allen-Bradley 1771-NC6 high-resolution PLC analog connection cables are needed when connecting to these RTPs but only one is needed when connecting to the 1771-RT41 and the 1771-RT44 modules that are relevant when connecting to the 4-channel Allen-Bradley 1771-N series I/O modules.
