The 1771-NBRC PLC5 is a high resolution analog combination module produced by Allen-Bradley. The 1771-NBRC module is an intelligent I/O module with six 1-6503 resistance temperature detector inputs and with 2 current outputs. In the 1771 chassis, the 1771-NBRC combination module fits into any of the available slots and it is engineered to draw a backplane current of up to 1.7A. The selectable input range for the 1771-NBRC combination module is 1-650 ohms and it has a 100-ohm platinum detector. With a maximum input resolution of 10mOhms/bit at 16 bits unipolar, the 1771-NBRC combination module input uses the Celsius temperature scale gauge.
The Allen-Bradley 1771-NBRC combination module offers a function for open input detection and it also has an input over-voltage protection rating of 140V AC. The 1771-NBRC module’s output rejection mode is 50dB and 50dB/60dB for the common modes and the normal modes, respectively. As a combination module of the N series, the 1771-NBRC analog I/O module comes with an Allen-Bradley 1771-WH wiring arm and its data format is either in BDC or natural binary. The output resolution for 1771-NBRC module is 0-25mA and it is made to provide voltage isolation between the backplane connections and the input channels with a 100% test at a voltage of 1200V DC for 1 second. For optimal operation, the 1771-NBRC combination module is made to function at 32-140oF at 5-95% relative humidity, non-condensing. In addition, the typical AC signal delay on the OFF-state is set at 30-60ms and it is 50ms for the DC signal delay.
