Other Available Revisions for the 1771-IM 1771-IM//A
The general purpose 1771-IM is a product by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell automation. It is basically a digital AC/DC power input module that houses about eight inputs specifically designed for use with various switches including the selector switches, the pushbutton switches, the AC limit switches, and the float switches. From the factory, this 1771-IM input module has nominal input voltages of 240V DC and 220-240V AC that operate at 47-63 Hz. The nominal current inputs for this 1771-IM module are 2.6mA, 3mA, and 3.5mA while the nominal voltages are 240VAC, 220V AC at 50Hz and it is 220V AC at 60 Hz respectively. Therefore, when the 1771-IM input module is on, the input voltage ranges are 184-276V AC.
The 1771-IM input module is designed to record a minimum on-state current of 2.9mA. This value changes to 1mA for the maximum off-state current while the maximum off-stage voltage is 92-114V AC. The 1771-IM input module also has input signal delays that range from 14-26ms for the AC voltage and 6-14ms for the DC voltage when switching from OFF state to ON state. During the reverse state, that is, going from the ON to the OFF state, the input signal delay ranges from 14-26ms and 11-29ms for the DC. The backplane current for 1771-IM input module is 75mA and the ranges for minimum and the maximum power dissipation are 0.4w and 2.4W respectively. The 1771-IM input module also has a minimum and maximum range for thermal dissipation that is 3.2BT/hr to 10.9BTU/hr. With the 1771-WA wiring arm there is no need to interrupt wiring system while changing the input module and the 1771-IM input module has a non-condensing relative humidity range of 5-95%.
