Other Available Revisions for the 1771-IJC 1771-IJC//A
The 1771-IJC is an encoder/counter module from the Allen Bradley branch of Rockwell automation. The module exerts a current load of 1.2 amperes on the backplane and takes 1.3 milliseconds to update. For facilitate troubleshooting and monitoring of the 1771-IJC and the devices connected to it, the module has LED indicators on its front side. The 1771-IJC has a maximum frequency of 50 Kilohertz. When purchasing the module, make sure you check for alternatives because the 1771-IJC is an earlier version which may not integrate smoothly with other current modules.
For inputs, the 1771-IJC encoder/counter module supports 5 Volts TTL single ended, single channel devices or the differential incremental encoder. The 1771-IJC is wired using the 1771-WB wiring arm which minimizes rewiring needs in case the module or components attached together with the module need to be replaced. The module also has a 5 Volt DC open collector with a current rating of 0.5 Amperes per output. The 1771-IJC has two slots. The 1771-IJC encoder/ counter module has a 24 milliseconds typical alternating current signal off delay plus an allowance of +-10 milliseconds. The module is recommended to be used in a dry and clean environment which has a relative humidity between 5-95% without condensation. Additionally, for maximum performance, the module must be operated at a temperature ranging from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. The 1771-IJC has a typical Direct Current signal off delay of 20 milliseconds +/- 9 milliseconds. When not in operation, the module is recommended to be stored within temperatures not exceeding 85 degrees Celsius and not below -40 degrees Celsius.
