The Allen Bradley 1771-HS3CR is an IMC 123 3-axis servo controller which is used with the PLC-5 system. The 1771-HS3CR is a special 3-axis compatible servo controller and the 1771-PS7 power supply is used to power up the module at a current rating of 1A at 250V AC. The 9-pin 1771-CAS cable is used to interface the 1771-HS3CR with the 1771-PS7. During shipping, the 1771-HS3CR comes with a power supply (1771-PS7), a hand-held pendant (optional), a memory module, and a resolver.
The 1771-HS3CR’s memory module which is battery-backed has a capacity of 96 KB. It is used to store both the download and uploaded MML programs plus the AMP parameters of the controller. Additionally, the controller uses the axis E-stop to receive resolver feedback signals, encoder feedback signals, E-stop starting signals, and E-stop status. These are accessed by using a 50-pin Input/Output connector. The same is also suitable for the provision of an Input/Output power that is fast.
To enable the downloading and uploading of AMP parameters and the MML programs, the 1771-HS3CR has an RS-232 connector port on its face. The 1771-HS3CR IMC 123 3-axis servo controller has an approximate weight of 1.36kg and it measures approximately, 11 x 7 x 3 inches. The controller has a storage temperature rating between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius, it has an operating temperature rating between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius and it has a relative non-condensing humidity rating between 5 and 95%. The 1771-HS3CR is CE, C-TICK, and c-UL certified. The hand-held pendant can also be connected via the RS-232 port to provide debugging functions for the MML program and all the hardware devices connected to the controller.
