Other Available Revisions for the 1771-HS3A 1771-HS3A//A
The Allen-Bradley 1771-HS3A is an IMC 120 servo controller module. It has a servo controller (3-axis) module and it is strictly designed to be mounted on the 1771 Input Output chassis. The 1771-HS3A is made up of a power supply module, an encoder module, a resolver, a hand-held terminal (optional), and a memory module. The 1771-HS3A IMC 120 servo controller module is powered using the 1771-PS7 power supply module that has a rating of 2A at 240V AC and 1A at 120V AC. The 1771-PS7 power supply is connected to the 1771-HS3A using the 1771-CAS 9-pin cable.
The T50 and T45 ODS are connected to the 1771-HS3A using the RS-232 connector that interfaces with the connector at the ODS. For storing the servo controller, AMP parameters plus the downloaded programs (MML), the 1771-HS3A has a memory cartridge (1771-HMA) which is battery-backed and has a capacity of 96 KB. To program the module’s system parameters and variables, the hand-held pendant terminal is used and must be connected to the ODS. The 1771-HS3A can be stored at temperatures ranging between -40 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit and it can be operated at temperatures between 32 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
For easier troubleshooting and monitoring, the 1771-HS3A has LED lights which cater to different actions of the module such as power-on and power-off. To excite the resolver stator, the 1771-HS3A uses cosine and sine signals via a resolver excitation module. The 1771-HS3A has differential inputs of 250 KHz, single-ended inputs of 20KHZ, and 10V DC isolated outputs which are realized by using an encoder feedback.
