Other Available Revisions for the 1771-HMA 1771-HMA//A
The Allen Bradley 1771-HMA is a 96K CMOS memory cartridge which is used with the IMC 120 system and is MARINE certified. The 1771-HMA is a lithium battery backed memory module; the IMC 120 system must have this memory module for it to function as required. This memory module has 70.5 K available user memory; the battery used to back the 1771-HMA memory module has a maximum lifespan of 10 years, which is made possible by the low self-discharge nature of the battery. This battery is made up of a 1/6 D size lithium wafer cell fixed on the board or has a connector that goes into a socket.
The lithium battery provides a current of 1700 mAh and has a voltage of 3.6 Volts DC. Its capacity provides the perfect back-up source of power for the 1771-HMA CMOS memory cartridge. The 1771-HMA has an approximate weight of 2 pounds and operates optimally at temperatures of between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius. The memory module has a storage temperature rating of between -40 and +85 degrees Celsius and must be operated at humidity levels between 5 and 95 percent without condensation. The battery used to back up the 1771-HMA memory cartridge is mostly used for industrial memory applications. To connect it to the board for the battery to provide the back-up power to the memory module, it uses a 3 Pin connector terminal. The 1771-HMA is used for the storage of MML programs and the AMP parameters. It’s also the overall memory module for the entire IMC 120 servo controller module.
