This operator terminal has a 5.7-inch widescreen display with a colored graphic panel with a resolution of 640 × 480 VGA in 18-bit color graphics. It provides a user-friendly configuration environment for the operator terminal and supports a number of services such as file transfer protocol (FTP), VNC client-server, ActiveX controls, PDF reader, and third-party device support. The analog-resistive touchscreen interface offers the users engagement, with an actuation lifespan of 1 million presses at an operating force of 100 g. It enables any user to interact directly with the runtime objects displayed on the screen. This operator terminal has 512 MB (megabytes) of random-access memory (RAM), 512 MB of internal storage, and 80 MB of file storage. External flash drives can also be inserted into any of the USB interfaces to act as storage expansion. The user can do framework and control board tasks or run third-party programs from the work area. To anticipate unauthorized changes, the user can even allow brief specific apps or access the disability work area. It is intended for use in monitoring and controlling machines and processes in industrial applications.
