The Allen-Bradley 2711P-B6C20A terminal is an operator terminal in the PanelView Plus 600 terminal series. This terminal offers multiple operator input options. It includes a keypad and a touchscreen. Its display features a high-quality color active-matrix TFT screen that measures 5.7 inches diagonally. The display area of the screen 115 x 86 mm (4.5 x 3.4 inches) and the resolution of the screen is 320 x 240 pixels. The 2711P-B6C20A terminal’s screen supports 18-bit color graphics. The screen shines with up to 440 cd/m2 (Nits) of luminance, and it utilizes a long-lasting white LED backlight that is rated for 25,000 hours of minimum operation time at 25°C (77°F). The touchscreen employs analog-resistive technology (4-wire) and is capable of enduring one million presses with an operating force ranging from 10 to 110 g. The keypad has a stainless-steel membrane, and it includes numeric, navigation, and function keys. The keypad can also endure one million presses with an operating force rating of 340 grams. Additionally, the keypad incorporates 10 function keys (F1 to F10) for enhanced control. The 2711P-B6C20A terminal has 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of nonvolatile memory in addition to approximately 73 MB of free user memory. External storage options for the terminal include Secure Digital (SD) cards that can be installed in a hot-swappable SD card slot and USB flash drives that can be installed in a high-speed, hot-swappable USB 2.0 host port. The 2711P-B6C20A terminal supports Ethernet connectivity (10/100 Mbps, Auto-MDI/MDI-X), an RS-232 port, and 2 USB ports (1 host and 1 device). It operates with an input voltage range of 100 to 240V AC at 50 to 60 Hz, with a power consumption rating of up to 35VA maximum and 20VA typical.
