The 2711P-T6M5D8 Operator terminal comes from the PanelView Plus 6 series. The 5.7-inch Grayscale TFT LCD display screen on this operator terminal, which is largely made up of a 16-level grayscale resolution of 320 x 240, measures 115 by 86 mm (4.5 x 3.4 in.). This terminal is a member of the PanelView 6 600 subcategory. The 2711P-T6M5D8 also includes a 4-wire, resistive touchscreen (analog) operator interface that can be used up to 1M times at an operating force of 10-100 g. This input mechanism allows for direct connection between operators and runtime objects given by the HMI device. Operators just need to touch the target object to start the specified action and features needed to monitor, adjust, and enter instructions into the linked machine or process. A Programmable Logic / Automation Controller (PLC / PAC) is intended to be communicated with using the 2711P-T6M5D8's inbuilt RS232 communication interface, which supports the DF1 and DH-485 protocols. With it, point-to-point communication is limited to a maximum of 15 meters. Additionally, the USB host and device ports on this HMI hardware allow USB-capable peripherals to be attached, including a mouse, keyboard, and portable flash drive for extra storage. Furthermore, non-volatile memory (1784-SD1 or 1784-SD2) may be put into this operator terminal thanks to its inbuilt Secure Digital (SD) Card interface. The 2711P-T6M5D8 has 256 Random Access Memory (RAM) that may be accessed as integrated memory in addition to 512 MB of non-volatile memory.
