The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T15C4D8 operator terminal from the PanelView Plus 6 series is a Bulletin 1500 interface terminal used in industrial automation systems as a Human Machine Interface (HMI) device. This operator terminal makes it easy for users to interact with machines and control or monitor industrial application processes on the machines. The 2711P-T15C4D8 terminal is equipped with an analog-resistive touchscreen that has an actuation rating of 1 million presses. Its 15-inch color active-matrix TFT display offers a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and 18-bit graphics. The 2711P-T15C4D8 terminal’s screen has a display area of 304 x 228 mm. The screen features a field-replaceable backlight designed to operate for at least 50,000 hours at 25°C. The enclosure ratings supported by the 2711P-T15C4D8 terminal include ratings of NEMA/UL Type 12, 13, 4X, IP54, and IP65. Even with a durable enclosure, the 2711P-T15C4D8 terminal should only be used indoors. This operator terminal is powered by an input voltage range of 18 to 32 Volts DC (24 Volts DC nominal). The 2711P-T15C4D8 terminal comes with 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB of non-volatile internal memory. The terminal’s integrated ports include an Ethernet port, an RS-232 port, and 2 USB host ports. The 2711P-T15C4D8 operator terminal’s USB host ports can be used to connect a printer, a keyboard, a mouse, or hot-swappable flash drives to the terminal. The approximate dimensions of the 2711P-T15C4D8 terminal are 330 x 415 x 65 mm, and the approximate weight of the terminal is 4.2 kg. The 2711P-T15C4D8 operator terminal cannot be mounted on a DIN rail.
