The 2711P-K4M20D8 operator terminal is an Allen Bradley originated PanelView Plus 6 400 ranges device that serves as a monitoring and control interface for the associated machine or process. This adaptable operator terminal is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. It is widely utilized in the manufacturing, oil and gas, and food and beverage industries. This operator terminal has a 3.5-inch monochrome screen, eight (8) function keys ranging from F1 to F8, navigation and numeric keys, and a power button. This operator terminal is a direct current (DC) powered device with an acceptable supply range of 18-32VDC and a nominal voltage of 24VDC. This terminal normally serves as an HMI unit, and it facilitates monitoring and controlling on the factory floor by integrating one or more controllers via any or both serial communication (RS232) and Ethernet interfaces. For short-distance communication, it uses the DH485 or DF1 protocols, and it is exclusively used for peer-to-peer connections within the panel communication. The Ethernet communication interface is utilized for networked connections and can be used for longer distance communication exchanges of up to 100 meters. With the addition of an Ethernet switch or fiber optic media, the covered distance can be expanded. Both of these interfaces can be utilized for concurrent communication. The dimensions of the 2711P-K4M20D8 are 152 x 185 x 90 mm (6.0 x 7.28 x 3.54 in.). It is flush mounted to an enclosure that is NEMA/UL rated or IP rated. It maintains 51 mm (top), 102 mm (bottom), 25 mm (side), and 0 mm (back) mounting clearances.
