Allen Bradley engineered and built the 2711P-K4C20A8 is a PanelView 6 Plus 400 ranges operator interfacing unit that also functions as an HMI. It enables the user to communicate with their machine. The color display on this operator interface measures 3.5 inches. The user can operate the operator interface by entering information and data into the keypad. This unit is powered by a 100-240 VAC power supply. This device contains the 256 MB of RAM. This 2711P-K4C20A8 module uses an open industrial network that allows I/O messaging and message exchange in real time. By utilizing both the network and regular Ethernet connections, the Ethernet port connects to a controller on an EtherNet/IP network. This port can handle application transfers as well as printing. The EtherNet/IP screen displays and allows the user to adjust some of the PanelView terminal's EtherNet/IP connection settings. If another Ethernet port is required, the 2711P-RN20 Ethernet communication module is available for the 700 to 1500 terminals. The module also has a distinct IP address. The users can use this program to construct graphical screens and user interfaces for industrial applications. The FactoryTalk View MEStation (runtime) software, which is necessary to run applications on the terminal, is also included with the 2711P-K4C20A8. It operates between -10 and 60 degrees Celsius (14 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit). Typically, the terminal is utilized in industrial applications such as manufacturing, food and beverage processing, and oil and gas. It is possible to display information such as the current condition of the machine, data regarding the process, and alarms. It also has the capability of inputting commands, which can be utilized to operate machinery and processes.
