The Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 1500 series is a series of operator interface terminals. The PanelView Plus 1500 terminals are designed to meet the needs of different industrial automation systems. These terminals can be used as control interfaces and monitors for industrial automation systems that do not have built-in interfaces. The PanelView Plus 1500 operator interface terminals have 15-inch color display screens. The display area of these screens is 12 inches x 9 inches, and these display screens are the largest display screens available on Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus interface terminals. The PanelView Plus 1500 terminals support display resolutions of 1024 x 768 pixels on their 15-inch screens. The terminals on the PanelView Plus 1500 series can be controlled by keypads or touchscreens. Some terminals have touchscreens only, some have keypads only, and some have a keypad and a touchscreen. The PanelView Plus 1500 terminal touchscreens are analog resistive touchscreens. AC-powered and DC-powered terminals are available on the PanelView Plus 1500 series. The AC-powered models operate at 85 to 264V AC and 47 to 63 Hertz, and the DC-powered models operate at 18 to 32V DC (24V DC nominal). Additionally, the AC-powered models have typical power consumption ratings of 65 VA and maximum power consumption ratings of 160 VA. The DC-powered models have typical power consumption ratings of 39 Watts (1.6 Amps at 24V DC) and maximum power consumption ratings of 70 Watts (2.9 Amps at 24V DC). The PanelView Plus 1500 terminals can support up to 512 MB of external CompactFlash storage memory. Depending on the type of logic module that they have, PanelView Plus 1500 can support up to 446 MB of application flash memory.
