The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T10C4D1 PanelView Plus 1000 series operator terminal is a base unit terminal with a display module, a logic module, and built-in communication ports, but no communication module. This terminal is an essential device for real-time monitoring and control of industrial machinery and application processes. The 2711P-T10C4D1 base unit terminal can be used as an interface device for industrial machinery. The built-in communication ports on the terminal are an RS-232 communication port and an Ethernet communication port. The 2711P-T10C4D1 base unit terminal is DC-powered, its nominal voltage rating is 24 Volts DC, and its input voltage range is 18 to 32 Volts DC. This base unit terminal is operated by a touchscreen. The touchscreen’s display size is 10.4 inches, and its display area is 8.3 x 6.2 inches. Additionally, the 2711P-T10C4D1 terminal’s touchscreen has a resolution of 640 x 480. The touchscreen is analog-resistive. Operators can use the touchscreen with bare fingers, gloved fingers, or plastic styluses with tip radiuses of at least 1.3 millimeters. The 2711P-T10C4D1 base unit terminal displays data with color graphics. Although the 2711P-T10C4D1 base unit terminal does not include a communication module, it is compatible with optional communication modules that can connect it to specific communication protocols.
