The Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 1000 series is a series of Human Machine Interface (HMI) terminals. These Allen-Bradley terminals feature flat panel color display screens that are 10.4 inches wide with display areas of 8.3 x 6.2 inches. The screens on the PanelView Plus 1000 series terminals have resolutions of 640 x 480 pixels, and they support 18-bit graphics for detailed visual feedback. The PanelView Plus 1000 terminals support versatile control options. Operators can interact with the PanelView Plus 1000 terminals through a touchscreen, a keypad, or a touchscreen and a keypad. The PanelView Plus 1000 touchscreens are analog-resistive. The PanelView Plus 1000 interface terminals that are controlled by touchscreens alone have approximate dimensions of 248 x 329 x 55 millimeters without an optional communication module. The PanelView Plus 1000 interface terminals that are controlled by keypads alone or keypads and touchscreens have approximate dimensions of 248 x 399 x 55 millimeters without an optional communication module. Optional communication modules allow the PanelView Plus 1000 terminals to communicate with other devices through specific protocols. The PanelView Plus 1000 terminals can operate at 85 to 264 Volts AC or 18 to 32 Volts DC of input voltage. The AC-powered terminals have power consumption ratings of 65 VA (typical) and 160 VA (maximum). The DC-powered terminals have power consumption ratings of 39 Watts (typical) and 70 Watts (maximum). The PanelView Plus 1000 terminals come with a “Fault” status indicator and a “COMM” status indicator. The “Fault” indicator is red, and the “COMM” indicator is green. The PanelView Plus 1000 can be installed in protective enclosures with protection ratings of up to IP65.
