The Allen-Bradley 2711C-T6M interface terminal is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) terminal from the Allen-Bradley PanelView Component C600 series. It is a flexible HMI that was designed to be compatible with a variety of devices connected to industrial controllers, including Allen-Bradley MicroLogix, SLC500, Micro800, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix controllers. The 2711C-T6M terminal has a 5.7-inch monochrome touchscreen, and this touchscreen can display data and be used to control the terminal and connected equipment. The resolution of the touchscreen is 320 x 240, and the touchscreen’s actuation rating is 1 million presses. The 2711C-T6M interface terminal’s enclosure ratings include NEMA/UL Type 4X (indoor), 12, 13 ratings, and IEC IP54 and IP65 ratings. This terminal comes with Ethernet, RS-485, RS-232, and USB ports. The 2711C-T6M terminal’s 2 USB ports include a DF1 RS-232 port and a DH-485 RS-232 port. The 2711C-T6M terminal operates at 18-30V DC (24V DC nominal) and offers easy connectivity to controllers and other devices. The 2711C-T6M terminal comes with a real-time clock with battery backup, and its screen uses a long-lasting backlight that lasts for at least 50,000 hours. This backlight is not replaceable. The 2711C-T6M HMI terminal can be quickly and readily incorporated into control systems because of its small size. Its approximate dimensions are 6 inches in height, 8.23 inches in width, and 2.25 inches in depth. It has an operating temperature range of 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, an operating shock resistance rating of 15 g at 11 ms, and a vibration rating of 2 g at 10 to 500 Hertz.
