The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation Panelview 900 series is a series of interface terminals that are available in monochrome and color display variants. These interface terminals are designed for indoor use and can be housed in NEMA Type 12/13, 4X, IP54, and IP65 enclosures. They also feature status indicators. These status indicators include a green communication indicator and a red fault indicator. The Panelview 900 terminals are available with keypad and touchscreen input options. The Panelview 900 terminals with monochrome displays feature AC gas plasma screens with pixel resolutions of 640 x 400 pixels. The monochrome units that have touchscreens support 384 touch cells, and each touch cell is 26 x 25 pixels. The Panelview 900 terminals with color touchscreens employ active-matrix thin-film resistor screens that are illuminated by cold cathode fluorescent backlights. The color touchscreens support 384 touch cells, and each touch cell is 26 x 30 pixels. The Panelview 900 terminals with color displays support display resolutions of 640 x 480 pixels. The Panelview 900 terminals can function in temperatures ranging from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. The storage temperature range for the Panelview 900 terminals is -25 to 70 degrees Celsius. The Panelview 900 terminals can all tolerate relative humidity ranges of 5 to 85% without condensation in operation and storage, and the terminals with color displays can tolerate maximum relative humidity ratings of 95% without condensation in operation and storage. The AC-powered Panelview 900 terminals can operate at 85 to 264V AC of supply voltage, and the DC-powered terminals can operate at 18-30V DC (monochrome terminals) or 18-32V DC (color terminals). When installing the Panelview 900 terminals, technicians must ensure that electrical power is disconnected from the panels to prevent accidents.
