Allen-Bradley's 2711R-T7T graphic operator terminal is a product of the PanelView 800 series, which is notably compatible with Allen-Bradley MicroLogix, CompactLogix, SLC 500, PLC5, and Micro 800 controllers. It has an integrated memory of 256 MB of flash memory and 256 MB of DDR class RAM. It permits the installation of external storage devices such as industrial grade micro-SD cards and is specifically compatible with SDSC and class 6, class 10 SDHC micro-SD cards, FAT32/16 formats, and up to 32 GB maximum size. It contains Ethernet, RS232 / RS422 / RS485 communication connectors, and a USB peripheral port allowing insertion of external input devices such as a mouse and keyboard. The users can connect to many networks using the terminal's USB v2.0 and Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) connectors. This terminal also includes RS-232 and RS-422/RS-485 connectors, as well as a real-time clock with a built-in battery. The 2711R-T7T has a 7-inch color display panel that may be oriented vertically or horizontally in widescreen mode. It has an 800 x 480 resolution and an effective viewing surface of 153.6 mm in height and 86.6 mm in width (6.05 × 3.41 inch). It features an analog resistive touchscreen interface with a design life of up to one million actuations. The 7-inch color transmissive TFT matrix LCD touchscreen features 65K colors and a WVGA resolution of 800 x 480. It also includes an LED backlight, and at 25 degrees Celsius, the display has a minimum lifespan of 40,000 hours or five years. The terminal has a fast processor that runs at 800 MHz (megahertz).
