The Allen-Bradley 2711-T6C5L1 terminal is an industrial-grade HMI (Human-Machine Interface) from the Panelview 600 series of standard HMI terminals. It can display application data from the system or machine it is mounted on, and operators can use this data to monitor and control applications through the HMI. The screen on the 2711-T6C5L1 terminal is a 5-inch touchscreen with 128 touch cells and color graphics. This HMI unit is built to last and is suitable for applications in a variety of manufacturing environments. The 2711-T6C5L1 terminal has sensitive electrical components and must be installed in a NEMA Type 12, 13, 4X, IP54, or IP65 enclosure for protection. This terminal should only be used indoors. The 2711-T6C5L1 terminal’s operating temperature range is 0 to 50 °C (32 to 122 °F). The terminal should be installed with mounting clearances of 25 mm on each side and at the top and 38 mm at the bottom to ensure sufficient airflow around the terminal and allow for natural cooling. The 2711-T6C5L1 terminal’s maximum operating shock rating is 15 g. The 2711-T6C5L1 terminal has an RS-232 interface port with a DH-485 option, a flash memory capacity of 240 KB, a RAM capacity of 170 KB, and the ability to accept an ATA memory card for memory expansion. It supports 24 Volts DC of nominal voltage, operates at 18 to 32 Volts DC of input voltage, and consumes 24 Watts of maximum power during operation. The COMM status indicator light on the 2711-T6C5L1 terminal glows green whenever there is successful communication with industrial equipment through the RS-232 (DH-485) port.
