The 2711-T5A5L1 is a PanelView 550 standard sequences operator terminal with DH485 capability that may be utilized as a human machine interface (HMI) device to control the industrial process via monochrome display and touch input interface. The PanelView 550 is a small, scalable piece of hardware with 112 kilobytes of built-in memory for series A to D and 240 kilobytes for series E and onwards. This internal memory can be expanded using ATA memory cards with capacities ranging from 256 kilobytes to 32 MB. This operator terminal may also include anti-glare overlays, communication modules, cables, and other components to enhance the device's capabilities and operation experience. The 2711-T5A5L1 has an input voltage range of 18 to 32 volts DC (24 volts DC nominal) and a maximum power consumption of 18 watts (0.75 amps at 24 volts DC). This operator terminal supports several pre-loaded libraries of objects. This operator terminal includes an internal configuration environment for adjusting terminal features such as language, video settings, memory card management, and program runtime.
