The Allen-Bradley PanelView 300 Micro series 2711-M3A18L1 operator terminal was designed for industrial applications that require a compact and reliable operator interface. This terminal operates on an input voltage range of 11 to 30V DC, with a nominal voltage rating of 24V DC. It consumes up to 25 Watts of power (0.105 Amps at 24V DC.) The 2711-M3A18L1 terminal's weight is approximately 284 grams, and it has compact dimensions of about 133 x 111 x 48 mm (5.23 x 4.38 x 1.87 inches). User interaction with the 2711-M3A18L1 terminal is facilitated through a sturdy keypad. The terminal’s display is a monochrome transflective LCD screen with LED backlighting. The display size is 3 inches, the display area is 73 x 42 mm (2.87 x 1.67 inches), and the display resolution is 128 x 64 pixels. The LED backlight is rated for 100,000 hours of operating life. The 2711-M3A18L1 terminal’s keypad is a stainless steel domed membrane keypad that was designed to be durable. The keypad includes navigation and function keys, and it has an actuation rating of 2 million presses. The 2711-M3A18L1 terminal also features a real-time clock to timestamp critical data and ensure accurate time-related information. The real-time clock is battery-backed, but the battery for the real-time clock is not replaceable. The 2711-M3A18L1 operator terminal has 170 KB of application runtime memory, and it has 240 KB of nonvolatile memory for storing application objects, text, and bitmaps. It does not support an ATA memory card. For communication purposes, the terminal is equipped with an RS-232 communication port and communicates by using the DF1 protocol.
