The PanelView 300 series was manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation, and it is a series of standard industrial operator terminals that can control and monitor different applications for industrial machinery and systems. The PanelView 300 terminals can operate as HMIs or human-machine interfaces for industrial equipment that lacks built-in human-machine interface features. PanelView 300 terminals can display data in more than 46 languages because they have universal language support features. Their operator input options are keypads. The PanelView 300 terminal keypads include cursor keys, 8 function keys, and a calculator-style numeric keypad. The keypads on the PanelView 300 terminals have actuation ratings of 2 million presses. These terminals each have an RS-232 printer port that can support baud rates of 1200 kbps, 2400 kbps, 9600 kbps, or 19,200 kbps. The communication ports that are available on PanelView 300 terminals include DH-485, RS-232 (DH-485), DeviceNet, and RS-232 (DF1) communication ports. The PanelView 300 terminals support nominal input voltage ratings of 24 Volts DC and input voltage ranges from 18 to 32 Volts DC. The maximum power consumption rating of the PanelView 300 terminals is 10 Watts (0.42 Amps at 24 Volts DC). These terminals can support ATA memory cards, and they come with 170 KB of built-in application run-time memory and 240 KB of built-in nonvolatile memory. The nonvolatile memory can store text, bitmaps, and application objects. The PanelView 300 terminals come with battery-backed real-time clocks, but the batteries are not replaceable. The PanelView 300 terminals weigh about 1.48 pounds, and their approximate dimensions are 7.76 x 5.53 x 3.21 inches.
