Allen-Bradley's 2711-T10G10L1 is a 10.1-inch grayscale touchscreen module made for industrial automation applications. It is part of the Panelview 1000 series. With an amazing average life span of 1 million pushes, this HMI (Human-Machine Interface) unit has an easy-to-use touchscreen for input. A real-time clock that allows for date and time stamping of user inputs makes it stand out. The module uses just DC power and draws about 24 Watts (1.0 A at 24 Volts DC) when operating. It has 1008 KB of nonvolatile memory and an extra 310 KB of application runtime memory, which gives it plenty of room for commands and data storage. The 2711-T10G10L1 also accepts ATA flash memory cards to increase its memory capacity. Its 10-inch grayscale display has a backlight with a remarkable half-life of 50,000 hours at 25 degrees Celsius. Field-replaceable batteries support the real-time clock to ensure its dependability. This module is appropriate for severe industrial situations because of its reinforced robustness and NEMA Type 12, 13, or 4X enclosure classification. The operating range of the device is crucial; it shouldn't be subjected to temperatures that are higher than 131 degrees Fahrenheit or lower than 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Maintaining a temperature range between -13 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit during storage is crucial for preservation. The module is roughly 11 x 15 x 5 inches and weighs roughly 7 pounds. For optimum performance, mount it no higher than 6561 feet.
