The Allen-Bradley 2711-T10G1 interface terminal was designed to be used as an interface module in different types of industrial automation systems. It is part of the Allen-Bradley PanelView 1000 series of standard interface terminals. The 2711-T10G1 terminal can be installed on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) or other industrial systems and used as the human-machine interface for the host system. It can display important application data on its screen. The 2711-T10G1 terminal’s screen is a 10.1-inch grayscale display screen with a Cold Cathode Fluorescent (CCF) backlight. The backlight has a 50,000-hour half-life at 25 degrees Celsius and is field-replaceable. The graphics on the 2711-T10G1 terminal’s screen are displayed in 4 shades of gray and with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The screen’s display area is 211 x 158 mm. The 2711-T10G1 interface terminal’s display screen also functions as an analog-resistive touchscreen with 384 touch cells that measure 26 x 30 pixels. This terminal is AC-powered and operates with a voltage range of 85-264V AC. The 2711-T10G1 terminal comes with 1008 KB of nonvolatile memory for bitmaps, text, and application objects and 310 KB of memory for application runtime. This terminal also supports ATA memory cards. The 2711-T10G1 interface terminal has an RS-232 port for printing and a Remote I/O port for communication. This terminal timestamps critical application data with its real-time clock. The RS-232 port supports speeds of 1200, 2400, 9600, and 19,200 Kbps. The 2711-T10G1 terminal’s real-time clock is battery-backed and uses batteries that are field-replaceable. The 2711-T10G1 interface terminal’s power consumption rating is 55 VA maximum.
