Allen Bradley's 2711-T10C20 operator terminal is a graphical operator terminal, also known as a human machine interface (HMI) unit, that enables machine users and process operators to control a specific region or the entire process from a single, convenient, and integrated monitoring and control workstation. The 2711-T10C20 is a PanelView Plus 1000 standard operator terminal with a 10.1-inch colored display screen and an analog-resistive touchscreen that permits direct operation by tapping a specific runtime item presented on the HMI's screen. Furthermore, this operator terminal interfaces with Allen-Bradley controllers or third-party devices via an Ethernet connection connector that supports 10/100 Mbps transmission speed with auto-negotiation functionality. The secondary port, the RS232 9-pin sub D interface, is specifically designed to communicate with alarm printers for alarm and event documentation. The 2711-T10C20, with analog-resistive touchscreen, permits direct operation by tapping a specific runtime item presented on the HMI's screen. It may support various accessories for various uses, such as connecting cables, ATA PC memory cards, and an antiglare overlay for the LCD screen. This module has a challenging NEMA Type 12/13 or 4X enclosure designed for indoor use only. The HMI is powered by an 85 to 264 volts AC input. The 2711-T10C20's 1008 Kbytes of RAM can hold data, files, apps, and more. There are Ethernet and Printer (RS-232) connectivity ports for adaptable connectivity, and the Allen-Bradley 2711-T10C20 module may provide HMI support for any Allen-Bradley programmable controller. This HMI is CE and UL approved and can function in a class III Division 1 industrial setting.
