The MPM-B1304M-MJ72AA servo motor is an MPM series permanent magnet rotary medium-inertia motor manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This motor has a 130-millimeter frame and 4 magnet stacks. It operates at 480 Volts AC with a base speed of 4500 rpm and a maximum speed of 6000 rpm. The MPM-B1304M-MJ72AA motor is equipped with a multi-turn high-resolution encoder. This motor is designed to withstand challenging environmental conditions, and it supports IP65/67 enclosure ratings for protection from dust and water if it is installed with the correct protective features. The MPM-B1304M-MJ72AA motor is dust-tight and protected from water jets with an IP65-rated enclosure option, and it can withstand temporary immersion in water if it has the enclosure and other equipment required for an IP67 ingress protection rating. The MPM-B1304M-MJ72AA motor supports secure connections with its right-angle circular connectors. It does not have a built-in holding brake. To shield the MPM-B1304M-MJ72AA motor from Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), the users can install line filters on the AC input lines or isolate the power transformers.
