The MPL-B540D-SJ74AA servo motor is a permanent magnet rotary servo motor with low inertia ratings from Allen-Bradley's MPL series. The rated speed of the MPL-B540D-SJ74AA servo motor is 2000 RPM. Its frame size is 165 millimeters, and its magnetic stack length is 4 inches. The MPL-B540D-SJ74AA rotary servo motor includes a single-turn type of high-resolution encoder that provides it with feedback for accurate and responsive control. The MPL-B540D-SJ74AA motor is compact and compatible with several Allen-Bradley Kinetix series industrial servo drives that are used in high-performance motion systems. This servo motor is in the MPL series 400V voltage class. The MPL-B540D-SJ74AA motor has circular DIN connectors that support reliable connections, and that can be rotated by up to 180 degrees. This servo motor includes a 24 Volts DC brake. This brake is a holding brake, and it is not designed for use as a safety device.
