The MPL-A4530K-HJ24AA brushless servo motor from Allen-Bradley has a 130-millimeter frame and is part of the MP series of low-inertia servo motors with feedback devices. It is designed to suit the exacting requirements of a high-performance motion system. This servo motor has a rare earth magnet rotor, which provides it an advantage over ordinary motors. This premium magnet rotor is responsible for the rapid acceleration that all MP series servo motors have. The MPL-A4530K-HJ24AA servo motor is a member of the 200-volt AC motor family, having a peak torque rating of 180 pounds per inch at 2.5 kilowatts of output and a rated motor speed of 4000 rpm. This motor is equipped with innovative smart motor technology, including an onboard motor memory that stores the motor profile (speed profile) and sends it to the system upon startup, resulting in greatly decreased commissioning time. This servo motor features a 2000-line incremental feedback encoder for precise and reliable control and a 24-volt DC spring-set holding brake to keep the servo motor from stalling. It has better winding insulation, which increases heat transmission and motor performance. The MPL-A4530K-HJ24AA has a standard 3-inch magnet stack length and a fixed type of circular DIN connector. It features an IP51 class environmental enclosure grade and an aluminum metal casing with a carbon steel key shaft. The MPL-A4530K-HJ24AA servo motor has an operating temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius with a humidity level of 5 to 95%. It has the CE, UL, and CSA certifications.
