The 2707-M232P3 is a DTAM Micro interface from Allen-Bradley; it is compatible with PLC-5 and SLC 500 controllers; it allows operators and users to access PLC data for control and data manipulation. The 2707-M232P3 can also be used in applications requiring recipe operations. A maximum of ten (10) non-sequential register addresses per screen can be downloaded at once with this type of operation enabled. Likewise, the DTAM micro interface allows for the monitoring and changing data files stored in the PLC5 and SLC500 memory. The 2707-M232P3 includes an LCD display panel displaying two (2) lines of information, with each line displaying up to 20 characters. The embedded keypad consists of eight (8) function keys, a numerical keypad, a navigational keypad, and confirmation buttons, which allows operators and users to communicate and perform essential operations and orders. This DTAM Micro Interface includes built-in memory for storing communications protocol configuration, custom-created displays, and up to 244 screens. The 2707-M232P3 consists of an RS232 communication port for initiating data exchange between partner controllers. This communication port is compatible with PLC5 and SLC500 controllers, notably SLC 5/03, 5/04, and 5/05. A status LED indication is also provided to provide feedback on the Interface's self-diagnostic checks. The sealed membrane, tactile feedback keypad with numerical, navigational, and eight (8) functional keys (F1 to F8) of the 2707-M232P3 input interface has an operational force of 453G and approximately 1 million operational cycles. The 2707-M232P3 is powered by a 24VDC external supply voltage connected to the DTAM power pins. An AC to DC adapter can be used to power this item if desired.
